Amplifier

This system will have two subwoofers, and a stereo pair of component speakers.  With these requirements, either a pair of two channel amplifiers, or a single 4 channel amplifier could be used.  To save both space and cost, a single 4 channel amplifier was chosen.

Shown below is the Rockford Fosgate Power 851X amplifier.  This amplifier is rated to produce 115 Watts RMS per channel.  This is more than adequate power for a system of this size.
