Soundstream Reference 705S

Of all the amplifiers I have owned over the years, this is one of the few I have actually used.  I had this amplifier installed in my daily driver for over two years, and enjoyed it the whole time.  I only removed it to install another amp I was testing out, and I ended up leaving the other amp in there (I am too lazy to remove it, as it is pretty buried in my installation).  This amp has sat on the shelf for about a year now, so I decided to sell it.

The amp shows some signs of use, but overall is in excellent shape.  It has all the terminal screws, and they are OEM style (I see plenty of amps with incorrect screws, or worse still, sheet metal screws used for the terminals).  It has all the chassis screws as well, and none of them are broken off.  The plastic around the screws is not all chewed up like I have seen on other Soundstream amps I have bought in the past.  The RCA jacks are in excellent condition.  There are a few small chips in the paint, but nothing too major.  This amp also has all the plastic covers for the switches on the bottom.  I have nothing else for it, no manual, or box.

As far as ratings go, this amp is rated at 50W x 4 on the main channels, and 200W x 1 on the sub channels.  More information regarding this can be found in the manual which is available online.  I used it in 3 channel mode for my installation (200W x 3) running a pair of components, and a single subwoofer.
